Ideal for a good value break right in Gorey town

Great location to walk into Gorey as taxis are not plentiful. Clean , comfortable hotel with good food and friendly staff. Breakfast very good as freshly cooked hot food is ordered at your table instead of congealed food on a buffet.

Service can be a bit slow probable due to not enough staff available

A surprisingly comfortable hotel with lovely staff

The staff were exceptionally friendly. It's great to have a swimming pool. The breakfast was of high quality. The breakfast room is nicely decorated. The pub and lounge are well decorated. Parking was free.

The foyer is slightly dated, carpet leaves it down. Some of the room doors (and en suite door) need to be painted. The hotel does not look that special from the outside. Parts of the shower door were dirty.

Our stay in this lovely hotel was too short, will be returning in the near future.

Very relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff, spacious lobby with plenty of comfortable seating. Great food in the bar (the roast beef was excellent) and a huge quality breakfast. The bedroom was clean and bright and a good size. Felt safe and secure there. Would like to return for a longer stay next time. A lovely hotel overall.

The TV in the bedroom did not have radio. We like to listen to the radio early morning and late evening. There was nothing else to complain about .

A warm atmosphere throughout the hotel, couldn’t have felt more welcome and looked after

The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the building. I stayed here the night before my wedding so was quite nervous but everyone made me so welcome and relaxed, from check desk to bar to gym. I have been singing their praises ever since, I usually don’t fill in these surveys but I felt I needed to acknowledge the stellar experience I had. Thank you to the whole team and I will return and will recommend you to anyone I know visiting Wexford.

Excellent Hotel.

This hotel is exfellent in evey way. Staff are friendly, helpful and very efficient. Rooms are spotless, spacious and comfortable. Location is excellent within a few minutes stroll to town centre. Fabulous gym and pool facilities. Overall fantastic experience.

The place is conviently located

Food is excellent. We had lunch on arrival. It was really faultless. Food at breakfast buffet was also good

The coffee served at breakfast was awful It was difficult to distinguish it from tea. A second pot was ordered. It tasted exactly the same as the first.

Shower was good and staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

The first room we got had an extremely bad mattress so much so that it was sunk in the middle and felt like we were lying on the floor. The TV was an old box back Television that made a loud whistle noise while switched on. We then got moved to a slightly better room but had continous issues with the door key this was changed up to 8 times during two days.

Lovely room... sleepless night.

The bedroom was spacious, bright and comfortable. Double bed was lovely and cosy with nice firm mattress. Bathroom was a grand size and had a luxurious walk in shower with waterfall shower head. Staff were warm and friendly throughout our stay (only short one night stay).

Soundproofing of the bedroom was very poor. Could hear everything from the bedrooms either side of us. We were also aware that our privacy would be compromised because of this issue. We were woken up at 3am from shouting/ loud talking in hall way and from room next to us. In early hours of the morning there was knocking on our door multiple times from people passing by in the corridor. We could also hear the TV blasting next door (although it might have been at reasonable volume but again just poor soundproofing)

Don’t stay here

I’m afraid there was nothing to like about this hotel.

The rooms are extremely outdated and in need of a refurbishment. The net curtains were so dirty they were grey and the foam pillows made for a dreadful night’s sleep. The food in the restaurant was very average and service was slow despite the restaurant being almost empty. I was asked to pay for my room upfront and then nothing could be charged to the room such as food or drinks so had to go everywhere with a credit card. And finally, despite being told breakfast was served from 07:30, service did not start before 08:00 making me late for a meeting.

Fab hotel in a great location.

The beds were so comfy. Rooms are spacious. Food is superb. Staff are very friendly. We will defo be back.

There's nothing I didn't like. Check in was quick. Rooms fantastic. Beds comfortable. Staff lovely.
